During Lunar New Year (Seollal) and Thanksgiving (Chuseok), waste incinerators and landfills are closed. Street dumping is prohibited.
Follow these steps

Dumping all waste types (general, food, recycling) is strictly suspended from holiday eve through holiday day.

Squeeze all excess moisture out of food waste, seal inside food trash bags, and store in a cool indoor spot.

Gift Boxes: Separate non-woven tote bags (general trash), mesh fruit sleeves (general trash), and cardboard (paper bin).
